Raptee HV T30 Electric Bike Launched At Rs 2.39 Lakh

Raptee is launching its debut motorcycles in India, offering two models – the Raptee HV T30 and T30 Sport.

Raptee.HV, an electric vehicle company from Chennai, has introduced its debut electric motorcycle, the T30, in India. You have the option to choose between two versions of the T30 – the HV T30 and the HV T30 Sport, both available at a price of Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). To secure your motorcycle, you can make an online booking by paying Rs 1000. Raptee mentioned that deliveries are set to commence in January 2025, with the first batch heading to Chennai and Bangalore.

Raptee HV T30: Design and Features

The Raptee HV T30 design is inspired by streetfighter motorcycles. It has a cool oval headlamp, a stylish front mudguard, and a split-seat design with comfy grip rails. One distinctive EV design element is the absence of an engine bay, with the side panel extending downwards. Moreover, you’ll find a 7-inch touchscreen display that comes with navigation, Bluetooth connection, and OTA updates. You have four color choices to pick from for the motorcycle – Arctic White, Eclipse Black, Mercury Grey, and Horizon Red.

Talking about the bike parts, this motorcycle is equipped with a USD front fork system and a rear mono shock that you can tweak for preload. For braking, there’s a 320 mm disc with dual-piston floating calipers at the front and a 230 mm rear disc with a single-piston floating caliper at the back. The bike provides different regenerative braking levels already set depending on the riding mode you choose. The T30 features 17-inch wheels with a 110-section tire at the front and a 150-section tire at the rear.

Raptee HV T30: Powertrain, Battery Pack

The Raptee HV T30 Electric Motorcycle is equipped with a robust 22 kW electric engine that can produce a maximum torque of 70 Nm. It can hit a maximum speed of 135 kmph and go from 0 to 60 kmph in only 3.5 seconds. Moreover, you have the choice of three diverse riding modes on this motorcycle – Comfort, Power, and Sprint. It comes with a 5.4 kWh battery pack, offering you an impressive IDC range of about 200 kilometers and a reliable range of more than 150 kilometers.

One cool feature of the bike is that it supports CCS2 charging, which means you can charge it using the same charger as an electric car. You’ll get a portable charger when you buy it. With a 3.3kW charger, you can go from 20% to 80% battery in an hour. If you use a fast charger, you can do the same in around 30 minutes. Plus, the battery pack comes with an 8-year or 80,000-kilometer warranty. And bike comes with a 3-year or 30000-kilometer vehicle warranty.
