Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel Costs Rs 11,000 to Rs 25,000 More Than the Regular Model
Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently launched an innovative version of its popular Gixxer SF 250, known as the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel. This new model, unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, is priced at Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and brings a significant advancement in fuel technology to the Indian market
While the standard Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is priced between Rs 1.92 lakh and Rs 2.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Flex Fuel variant is slightly more expensive at Rs 2.17 lakh. This price difference is justified by the advanced fuel technology and the modifications required to support it.

This groundbreaking motorcycle comes with a 250cc BS-VI-compliant engine. Flex fuel, or flexible fuel, means it’s a different kind of fuel made by mixing gas with ethanol or methanol. The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is made to work with a mix of gasoline and ethanol, able to run on up to 85 percent ethanol (E85). This is a big move towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly ways of getting around.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel Design and Features
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel retains the same design and features as the standard Gixxer SF 250 but comes with several modifications to accommodate the E85 fuel. These modifications include a new injector, fuel pump, ECU, intake and exhaust valves, fuel gauge, and fuel filter. the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel boasts a wide LED headlamp, a GIXXER-styled LED tail lamp, and a dual muffler.
The motorcycle also includes a split-seat design, dual-channel ABS, a side-stand interlock switch, and Suzuki’s Easy Start System. Furthermore, it comes with a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument console that connects to the Suzuki Ride Connect app, providing essential information to the rider and is available in two color options: Metallic Mat Black with Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, and Metallic Mat Black.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel Engine and Performance
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel’s single-cylinder engine delivers a power output of 20.5 kW (27.9 PS) when using E85 fuel and 20 kW (27.2 PS) on E20 fuel, along with a torque of 22.5 Nm. Suzuki has incorporated its Oil Cooling System and Eco Performance technology to ensure better fuel efficiency and durability. Additionally, the motorcycle features upgraded components such as the injector, fuel pump, and fuel filter to accommodate ethanol-blended fuels.
