Suzuki Motorcycle Achieves Milestone: 60 Lakh Units of Access 125 Produced
Suzuki Motorcycle India has ended the year on a high note, recording a remarkable 22% growth in sales for December 2024. The company sold 96,804 units of two-wheelers in the Indian market, a significant increase from the 79,483 units sold in December 2023.
Suzuki Motorcycle Domestic and Export Sales
The domestic sales for Suzuki Motorcycle India stood at 78,834 units, marking a 14% increase from the 69,025 units sold in the same month last year. The company’s export figures also saw a substantial rise, with 17,970 units sold overseas compared to 10,458 units in December 2023, reflecting a 72% growth.

In addition to the impressive sales figures, Suzuki Motorcycle India celebrated a significant milestone in December 2024. The company produced its 60 lakhs unit of the Suzuki Access 125, a flagship scooter that has been a favorite among Indian consumers. The Access 125, known for its seamless performance, reliable fuel efficiency, and reduced ownership expenses, continues to be a top-selling model for the brand.
Mr. Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After Sales at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., shared his thoughts on the performance., “We have been experiencing consistent year-on-year growth every month and December has been no exception. This reflects the growing preference for our products amongst two-wheeler users and a recognition of the quality of Sales and After Sales experience that our dealerships have been able to provide our customers. We express our sincere gratitude towards our customers for their growing patronage, which has been the biggest motivator in our efforts to deliver products and services of superior quality.”

Suzuki Access 125 Key Specifications
The Access 125 offers four models priced between Rs 85,601 and Rs 91,800 (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 125 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.58 bhp at 6,750 rpm and generates a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine is combined with a CVT unit for a smooth and responsive experience. It also features Suzuki Eco Performance technology, which improves fuel efficiency while maintaining strong performance.
The scooter offers more than just great performance; it is equipped with modern connectivity features. The Ride Connect Edition has a Bluetooth-enabled digital display that provides turn-by-turn navigation. It also alerts riders to incoming calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messages, along with notifications for missed calls and unread messages.

Additionally, it warns users if they exceed a set speed and shows the phone battery level and estimated arrival time. The Access 125 includes a generous 22.3-liter storage compartment under the seat, an easy start system, a longer seat for comfort, and a spacious floorboard.
