Tata Curvv Gets Luxury-Focused Update; Prices Start at ₹14.55 Lakh

Tata Motors updates the Tata Curvv and Curvv.ev with premium cabin upgrades, new comfort tech and refreshed interiors — ICE from ₹14.55L, EV from ₹18.49L.

Tata Motors has given the Curvv family a meaningful mid-life refresh, expanding its appeal in the competitive mid-size SUV segment by focusing on cabin comfort and premium touches. The update applies across ICE and electric Tata Curvv.ev models and aims to make the coupe-SUV feel more spacious and upscale without changing its core mechanical package.

The headline additions centre on passenger comfort. Tata now offers R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation — a first in India for this segment — along with Serenity Screen rear sunshades for better privacy and heat protection. Rear occupants also gain EasySip cup docks integrated into the armrest and, on the Curvv.ev, PureComfort footrests plus ErgoWing headrests that lift the rear-seat experience closer to premium cars. Interior visuals are refreshed with a white carbon-fibre-style dash insert and a lighter “Lalitpur Grey” theme trimmed in Benecke-Kaliko leatherette.

Tata has positioned the updated Curvv competitively: the petrol/diesel (ICE) Curvv in the Accomplished persona now starts at ₹14.55 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Curvv.ev is available in Accomplished and Empowered personas from ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices underline Tata’s strategy to offer richer equipment levels without moving the model out of reach for mainstream buyers.

Feature content remains strong. The Curvv continues to offer a 12.3-inch HARMAN touchscreen, a 9-speaker JBL setup with Arcade.ev connectivity, gesture-controlled powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, TwinZone Climate Concierge and a 500-litre boot — attributes that keep it competitive on technology and practicality. Tata also retains its 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating and Level 2 ADAS suite, reinforcing the Curvv’s credentials for safety-minded buyers.

Under the skin, powertrain choices and platforms are carried over. ICE models use Tata’s ATLAS architecture and continue with a mix of 1.2-litre GDI and Revotron petrol engines plus a 1.5-litre KryoJet diesel, with both manual and automatic transmissions available. The Curvv.ev rides on the acti.ev platform and promises strong real-world electric range and instant torque typical of Tata’s new-generation EVs.
