Last week, Tata Motors revealed the final version of the Curvv before its official release on August 7. It’s no secret that Tata plans to introduce both traditional and electric models of the Curvv, with the electric variant expected to hit the stores first. Recently, some information about the power source of the Curvv has surfaced online before its grand debut.
Tata Curvv EV Battery Pack
A recent media report mentions that Tata Motors plans to provide the Tata Curvv EV with 40.5 kWh and 55 kWh battery options. The smaller battery is available in the basic versions of the Nexon model, capable of achieving a top range of 465 km in the small electric SUV category. It is said that the 55 kWh battery should deliver a range of over 600 km on one full charge. One thing to point out is that with the DC fast charging feature, the coupe SUV can get a range of 100km in just the initial 10 minutes.
The Curvv EV will have two models, each with an electric motor at the front. More detailed specs will be announced soon. The prices for both the petrol and diesel versions will also be disclosed at the same time.
Some cool design features of the Tata Curvv EV are its big diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlights with full-width DRLs, full-width LED taillamps, a nicely blended spoiler, a sharkfin antenna, Aside from the mentioned aspects, the Tata Curvv EV reportedly includes Level-2 ADAS functionality and a variety of safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, traction control, a 360-degree camera, and more.
In addition, the upcoming Tata Curvv EV is rumored to be packed with technology. Notable tech features will include a spacious 12.3-inch entertainment screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital dashboard for the driver, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, rear air conditioning vents, automatic headlights and wipers, a panoramic sunroof, and other exciting additions.
