Tata Motors Announces Price Increase on SUVs and Cars Starting January 2025
In January 2025, Tata Motors will be adjusting prices for its different car models. The company plans to raise prices for its SUVs, EVs, and other vehicles. With this move, Tata Motors has joined other major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor, Mahindra, Kia, and JSW MG Motor in India who have also announced price increases for the upcoming month.
Tata Motors announced that they will be raising prices on all their vehicles by as much as 3%. The extent of the increase will differ depending on the model you choose. They haven’t disclosed yet which specific car will see the biggest jump. These new prices will come into effect starting on January 1, 2025. If you are considering purchasing a Tata vehicle, December is the ideal time to make your move and avoid paying more due to the upcoming price hike.

Similar to many other car manufacturers in India, Tata Motors has attributed the recent hike in car prices to the escalating production expenses caused by higher input costs and inflation. This is the primary factor driving the recent price adjustment for this particular car brand.

Currently, Tata Motors ranks as the third biggest car manufacturer in India, following Maruti and Hyundai. Moreover, the company leads the way in the electric vehicle market, offering the most diverse range of electric models, such as the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tigor EV, Tiago EV, and the newly introduced Curvv EV.
