Tata Nexon now offers Level-2 ADAS on the top Fearless +PS petrol-automatic — advanced driver assistance joins expanded Red Dark range.
Tata Motors has quietly added a significant safety upgrade to the Nexon line-up by introducing a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) on its range-topping petrol automatic. The ADAS-equipped Nexon is available only with the Fearless +PS turbo-petrol paired to the dual-clutch automatic and carries a sticker price of Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom).

The ADAS package brings a modern suite of active safety technologies to the compact SUV, including forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and lane-keep assist, high-beam assist and traffic-sign recognition. These systems elevate the Nexon’s on-road safety credentials and align it with current expectations for driver assistance in this segment.

Tata has positioned the ADAS variant marginally above the previous top trim — the new model costs about Rs 27,000 more than the earlier Fearless +PS DCT — while the Red Dark premium paint option is offered as an additional Rs 28,000 on applicable models, taking the ADAS + Red Dark combination to around Rs 13.81 lakh.
Alongside the ADAS launch, Tata has broadened the Nexon’s Red Dark palette to more variants, notably extending it to petrol, diesel and, for the first time, the Nexon CNG. This move gives customers more choice for a distinctive exterior and interior theme across fuel types.
