The Tata Safari SUV now comes with new features. Safari costs between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 25.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Motors has made some changes to the features available on its high-end SUV, the Tata Safari. In this update, some features have been removed from certain versions of the SUV, while new features have also been added. The Indian automobile giant has specifically updated the Pure variant. Despite these updates, the price of this luxury SUV has stayed the same. The Tata Safari SUV is currently priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 25.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Pure, Pure (O), Pure +, and Pure + S versions will now be without armrests, spare wheels, tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), LED lighting, second- and third-row roof lights, and third-row air conditioning vents. Also, they will have a manual unit instead of the auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM).

The Pure trim level in the new Safari models has some changes. While it lost some features, it gained new amenities. In the latest Safari models, you can enjoy cool additions like a rearview camera, a stylish shark-fin antenna, and a large 10.25-inch touchscreen for all your entertainment desires. The features in the Safari Pure, Pure +, and Pure + S versions remain unchanged. Tata Safari’s Pure models keep the same prices. The Pure versions of this SUV range from Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Safari: Features
The Harrier and the Safari have very similar interiors. For instance, the Safari’s touchscreen comes in either 10.25 or 12.3 inches, just like the Harrier. Both also offer a 360-degree view camera, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, rear window shades, touch-based HVAC controls, a 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system, ventilated front and back seats, a new drive selector for automatic models, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of safety features, the Safari has six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Electronic Stability Control, three-point seat belts that remind you to buckle up, and hill hold control. If you opt for the higher-spec models, you also get a driver knee airbag. Additionally, the Adventure+ A, Accomplished+, and Accomplished+ Dark versions all come with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for added safety on the road.

Tata Safari: Powertrain
The Tata Safari SUV runs on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. You can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. This engine can deliver 168 bhp peak power and 350 Nm of maximum torque. When you opt for a manual gearbox in the SUV, you can expect a fuel efficiency of 16.30 kilometers per liter. On the other hand, if you go for an automatic transmission, the fuel efficiency slightly drops to 14.50 kilometers per liter.
