Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive 48V Launched at Rs 44.72 Lakh; Legender Neo Drive 48V Priced at Rs 50.09 Lakh.
Toyota has introduced the Fortuner Neo Drive 48V in India, marking a significant step towards enhanced fuel efficiency and driving performance. The new model comes in two variants—the Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive 48V priced at Rs 44.72 lakh and the Legender Neo Drive 48V at Rs 50.09 lakh.
Bookings for the Fortuner Neo Drive 48V and Legender Neo Drive 48V began on June 2, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to start in the third week of June.

Key Features & Upgrades
The Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive 48V retains its 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, producing 204hp and 500Nm of torque, now paired with a 48-Volt hybrid assist system. This system includes a belt-integrated starter generator and a lithium-ion battery, improving acceleration, reducing noise, and enhancing fuel efficiency.
One of the standout features is the Smart Idle Start-Stop function, which automatically turns off the engine when stationary, reducing emissions and fuel consumption. Additionally, the Multi-Terrain Select system optimizes throttle response, braking, and traction control for various terrains.

Design & Interior
Toyota has maintained the dual-tone color scheme with sharp headlamp DRLs, redesigned bumpers, and 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV boasts dual-tone interiors, leather upholstery, ambient lighting, a digital infotainment screen, an advanced 360-degree camera, and wireless charging.

It also features ventilated front seats and an 11-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer and amplifier. Safety-wise, the SUVs now feature seven airbags, hill assist, traction control, ISOFIX mounts, and an auto start-stop function, optimizing efficiency.
