Toyota Fortuner Prices Revised: Up to Rs 50,000 Increase Across Variants
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a price hike for its popular SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, effective immediately. The new prices reflect an increase across various variants, with the highest hike being Rs. 50,000.

The Toyota Fortuner comes in two main versions: Standard and Legender. Here are the details of the price changes:
In the Standard Range:
- The GR-S variant has gone up by Rs. 50,000.
- The 2.8 Diesel MT 4×2, 2.8 Diesel AT 4×2, 2.8 Diesel MT 4×4, and 2.8 Diesel AT 4×4 variants have all increased by Rs. 40,000.
- The 2.7 Petrol MT 4×2 and 2.7 Petrol AT 4×2 now have a higher price of Rs. 35,000.
In the Legender Range:
- The 2.8 Diesel 4×2 AT and 2.8 Diesel 4×4 AT variants each saw a rise of Rs. 45,000.
With the revised prices, the Toyota Fortuner now ranges from Rs. 33.78 lakh to Rs. 48.09 lakh (ex-showroom prices).

Toyota Fortuner Engine and Transmission Options
The Fortuner offers two engine options. The 2.7-liter petrol engine delivers 164 horsepower and 245Nm of torque, available with either a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The 2.8-liter diesel engine provides 201 horsepower and 420Nm of torque with the manual option, while the automatic version boosts the torque to 450Nm.
Additionally, the Fortuner features three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. While the standard model is a 4×2, the 4×4 variants come with downhill assist control and have high and low-range driving capabilities.
