Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced they sold a total of 30,845 units in October, marking a 41% increase from the 21,879 units sold in the same month the previous year.
In October 2024, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) kept its sales climbing, with 30,845 units sold. This marked a significant 41% boost from the 21,879 units sold in October 2023. The increase was mainly thanks to the company’s new festive edition releases that drove sales during the festive season.
In October, Toyota India sold 28,138 cars within the country and exported 2,707 vehicles. Looking at the sales from April to September in the fiscal year 2025, they hit 193,468 units, which is a 33% increase from the 145,818 units sold in the same timeframe in the fiscal year 2023.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor attributes the recent growth to its increased production capacity. This boost was made possible by switching to three shifts at its facility in Bidadi, Karnataka. Notably, Toyota’s collaboration with Suzuki for badge-engineered products remains a significant factor driving sales. Additionally, the Innova and Fortuner models from Toyota are still top picks among customers, contributing significantly to the company’s overall profits.
