The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has become the second Maruti-rebadged car, following the Toyota Glanza, to reach this achievement.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has hit a significant milestone as the second Maruti rebadged model to surpass 100,000 units sold at wholesale in India. It reached this achievement in September, just about 2 years after its launch in September 2022. By the end of October, the Toyota Hyryder had sold a total of 107,975 units.
During the first seven months of this fiscal year (from April to October), Toyota Hyryder sales shot up by 52 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 36,220 units. This makes up about a quarter of Toyota’s total utility vehicle sales, which amounted to 147,351 units. To take advantage of the festive season’s buzz, Toyota introduced the Hyryder Festival Limited Edition in early October.
