The Scrambler 400 XC was launched in May 2025 with factory-fitted tubeless spoke wheels, priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom). However, with the standalone wheel set costing over Rs 70,000—far exceeding the Rs 27,000 price difference between the 400 X and 400 XC—it’s clear Triumph aims this offering at riders who prioritize performance and adventure-readiness over cost.

Existing Scrambler 400 X owners can change the wheels without needing modifications. However, Triumph India clarified the warranty limits: it only covers manufacturing defects and does not include damage such as bent rims or spoke failures. This means upgrading to aftermarket wheels involves some risk. The bike’s tough tubeless tires improve off-road handling and help prevent flats.
