Triumph Scrambler 400X Hardware, Features
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is built for off-road adventures with its tough design. It features a headlight protector grill, radiator guard, and knuckle guards for added protection. Additionally, this motorcycle comes equipped with a handlebar brace and split-style seats for comfort and style.
The motorcycle’s suspension system includes a 43mm upside-down front fork with 150mm travel and a preload adjustable monoshock at the back. Riders of the Scrambler 400 X enjoy the benefits of a larger 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. These wheels come with dual-purpose, block-pattern tires.

Let’s talk about the braking system. It consists of a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS, standard on all models. You can deactivate the rear ABS to slide around when off-road. As for features, the Triumph Scrambler 400X is equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle, a switchable traction control system, LED lights, and a semi-digital instrument panel. Plus, it has a Type-C charging port, which is included as part of the standard package.
Triumph gives you a choice of color options for the Scrambler 400 X – Phantom Black/Silver Ice, Matt Khaki Green/Fusion White, and Carnival Red/Phantom Black. They’ve also introduced a new color, Pearl Metallic White. Opting for the white design means the header, exhaust pipe, and sump guard come in black for a stylish contrast.

Triumph Scrambler 400X Engine
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X, the Speed 400, and the Speed T4 all have a 398.15 cc liquid-cooled engine, but each one is tuned a bit differently. For the Scrambler 400 X, it delivers 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and includes an assist and slipper clutch as standard features.
