TVS Motor Company has launched the Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition in order to increase the sporty attractiveness of its Apache RTR 160 range.
TVS Motor Company has expanded the range of Apache RTR 160 with a new high-end variant known as Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition. This variant enhances the sporty appearance of the Apache RTR 160 through updated styling. The new edition is available at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), which is just Rs 1,500 more than the standard Apache RTR 160.
The Racing Edition is distinctive for its stylish matte black color scheme, embellished with striking red and grey patterns on the fuel tank and tail section. Additionally, it features carbon fiber, race-influenced designs, and a unique Racing Edition emblem, with red alloy wheels adding to its visual allure. Beyond these characteristics, the Racing Edition retains the same specifications as the previous top-end model.
The Apache RTR 160 2V is available in numerous colorings: T Grey, Matte Blue, Racing Red, Gloss Black, Pearl White, Glossy Black (Black Edition), and the latest, Racing Edition. While the Glossy Black inside the Black Edition gives a stealthy appearance, the Racing Edition has a sportier look.
Features and Specs
The motorcycle is equipped with a 160 cc air-cooled engine that produces 15.82 bhp at 8750 rpm, the highest in its class as per TVS. It generates 13.85 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has a 12-liter fuel tank and claims a top speed of 107 km/h. Weighing 137 kg, the Apache RTR 160 2V offers a ground clearance of 180 mm and a seat height of 790 mm.

The motorcycle includes a range of advanced features that are firsts in its segment, such as fuel injection, dual-channel ABS, and a slipper clutch. Additionally, it is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster with SmartXonnect technology that allows for turn-by-turn navigation. The motorcycle also features LED head and tail lamps, updated body graphics, and compatibility with the TVS Connect App.
Riders have the option of selecting from three different riding modes: Rain, Urban, and Sport. Other functions include race data analysis, notifications for calls and text messages, indicators for gear position and shifting, a timer for laps, customizable screen brightness, a system for detecting crashes, and Glide Through Tech (GTT).
