In a spectacular move that’s making waves across the electric vehicle landscape, Ultraviolette Automotive has extended the introductory pricing for its much-anticipated electric scooter, the Ultraviolette Tesseract. This move follows an overwhelming response to the initial launch, which saw over 20,000 pre-bookings in just two days.

The Tesseract’s impressive pre-booking numbers are a testament to its appeal and the growing enthusiasm for electric mobility in India. Initially, Ultraviolette had planned to offer an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh to the first 10,000 customers. However, with the surging demand, the startup has generously extended this offer to the first 50,000 customers.

Ultraviolette Tesseract Battery Options

The Ultraviolette Tesseract is available in three battery variants:

  • 3.5 kWh: Offering a range of 162 km.
  • 5 kWh: With a range of 220 km.
  • 6 kWh: Providing a range of 261 km.

Each variant caters to different user needs, ensuring that riders can choose the option that best suits their commuting requirements.

Ultraviolette Tesseract Performance and Advanced Features

Powered by a robust electric motor, the 5 kWh and 6 kWh versions deliver an impressive 20.10 bhp, while the 3.5 kWh variant offers a respectable 13.4 bhp. The Tesseract boasts a top speed of up to 125 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, depending on the variant.

In terms of features, the Tesseract is equipped with a state-of-the-art seven-inch touchscreen LED display, which provides onboard navigation and a customizable user interface. Additionally, it includes radar sensor technology for blind spot detection, overtake alerts, lane change assist, and collision alerts. The scooter also comes with built-in dash cams at both the front and rear, along with haptic feedback on the handlebars.
