VLF Tennis Electric Scooter: 130km Range, 2.5 kWh Removable Battery and Exciting Features!
Meet the latest addition to the electric scooter family – introducing the Velocifero Tennis, also known as VLF Tennis, starting at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The brainchild of Alessandro Tartarini, son of the founder of Italjet, Leopoldo Tartarini, Velocifero carries an Italian heritage. Despite its Italian roots, VLF scooters are crafted by Taizhou Velocifero Vehicle Co. Ltd in Zhejiang, China. You can now find the VLF brand in India through Motohaus, based in Kolhapur.
KAW Veloce Motors will put together the Tennis model at their Kolhapur facility, where they can make up to 20,000 units a year. They plan to start delivering the Tennis cars on November 25. The company aims to set up stores in popular cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Goa, Chennai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. By the middle of 2025, KAW Veloce Motors plans to have 20 dealerships in operation.

VLF Tennis: Design, Features
The VLF Tennis EV has a modern, angular look. Its design is simple but might divide opinions. The front features rectangular LED headlights with twin projector lights, along with a 5-inch TFT screen that can connect to your smartphone. This compact car is said to weigh only 88 kg and rides on 12-inch wheels at the front and back.
The motorcycle comes with a telescopic front fork and a monoshock at the back. It has disc brakes on both wheels and an aluminum swing arm. The seat stands at 780 mm, and the ground clearance is 140 mm. Due to its small size, the storage under the seat can fit only a half-face helmet. You have three color choices: Snowflake White, Fire Fury Dark Red, and Slate Gray.

VLF Tennis: Powertrain, Battery Pack
The VLF Tennis gets its power from a 2.1kW hub motor connected to a detachable 2.5 kWh battery pack. This setup, according to KAW Veloce Motors, can take the scooter up to 130 kilometers on a single charge. With a hub motor that produces a steady 1.5 kW, the Tennis can cruise at a maximum speed of 65 kmph. Additionally, this scooter offers three ride modes and comes with electronic assistance features.
The scooter’s 1.5 kW hub motor is powerful enough to tackle slopes of up to 18 degrees, and it can be used in temperatures between -5 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius. With the 720-watt charger that comes with it, you can charge the battery completely in about three hours.
