Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun Onam Edition, Starting at Rs 13.57 Lakh

Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun Onam Editions have a price tag of Rs 13.57 lakh and Rs 14.08 lakh. Only 100 units will be available in Kerala.

With the Onam festival just around the corner, Volkswagen has introduced a special version of its Virtus sedan and Taigun SUV called the Onam Edition. This release marks the festive spirit and also marks the inauguration of six new outlets in Kerala, a vibrant market for Volkswagen. The Virtus Onam Edition is available from Rs 13.57 lakh to 14.87 lakh, while the Taigun Onam Edition costs between Rs 14.08 lakh and 15.63 lakh (ex-showroom).

These exclusive models are specially made for potential customers living in Kerala. You have a limited chance to get one of only 100 units of each available. Both models are sleek with an all-black look, inside and out, even the chrome accents like the grille have been given a black touch. These cars have some cool extra features like front parking sensors, a fancy horn, lights on the ground, and a special TSI badge on the front fender.

The Taigun Onam Edition is an upgraded version of the GT Line model. It comes with similar features and safety gear like the GT Line. This includes stylish blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof you can open with a button, ventilated front seats and automatic climate control, a large 10.0-inch screen for entertainment, and an 8.0-inch digital driver display.

The Virtus Onam Edition is quite similar to the Highline variant, packing in nearly all the features found in the Taigun Onam Edition, except for the powered sunroof. In terms of performance, these special models keep the same setup, running on a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
