The Yamaha R15 and R15M keep the same features.
Yamaha recently introduced new updates for its popular small sport bikes, the R15 and the R15M, in Indonesia for 2025. While there were no mechanical alterations, the bikes now feature fresh color options. These stylish hues could also be hitting the Indian market soon.
The Japanese company recently revealed fresh color choices for the R15 model. Now, you can choose from Tech Black, Icon Blue, and Aggressive Grey for the R15. Additionally, the R15M model introduces a new shade called Icon Performance. Yamaha hasn’t changed the mechanics or added any new features to these bikes. And
Yamaha R15 and R15M: Engine, Features
The Yamaha R15 and R15M both come with a 155cc liquid-cooled, 6-speed, single-cylinder engine. This engine gives you a top power of 18.4hp at 10,000rpm and torque of 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm. To stop, there’s a single disc brake at each wheel, backed up by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

The bikes have a seat that is 815mm high, with a ground clearance of 170mm. They weigh 141kg, and their fuel tank can hold up to 11 liters. This bike has Upside-Down Front Forks in the front and Linked-Type Monocross Suspension in the rear.
The R15 and R15M are quite similar bikes, differing mainly in their appearance. Prices for these models begin at Rs 1.83 lakh for the R15 and go up to Rs 1.98 lakh for the R15M (ex-showroomi).
