Yamaha Motor India has recently introduced the latest R15M model in India. This new version comes with a fresh carbon fibre design option and enhanced features. The R15M in Metallic Grey is available at Rs. 1,98,300, while the new Carbon Fibre Pattern variant is priced at Rs. 2,08,300, Both prices are ex-showroom.
The Carbon Fiber Pattern on the R15M takes cues from the R1M’s sleek carbon bodywork and is crafted using advanced water-dipping tech. While it may not be the same as the genuine carbon fiber panels found on the top-tier Yamaha superbike, this design is visible on the front cowl, sides fairing, and rear side panels. Alongside the carbon fiber pattern, the R15M sports a stylish all-black fender, updated graphics on the fuel tank and sides fairing and striking blue wheels.

Yamaha R15M Carbon Edition: Powertrain
No mechanical changes have been made to the bike. It still has a 155 cc engine that is fuel-injected. The engine can deliver a peak torque of 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm and a maximum power of 18.10 bhp at 10,000 rpm. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch, along with a quick shifter. Additionally, Yamaha has included traction control and VVA, which activates at 7,400 rpm.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Edition: Features
The latest updates to the Yamaha R15M Carbon Edition bring a new color TFT dash, turn-by-turn navigation, and music and volume controls. You can manage these features using the Y-Connect app, which you can download from the Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS. This allows you to link up and sync with your motorcycle seamlessly. Moreover, this model comes with upgraded switchgear and a fresh LED number plate light. You can find these enhancements in both the latest Carbon Fiber Pattern version and the current Metallic Grey edition.
The bike’s suspension features 37mm upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock that you can adjust. For braking, there’s a 282mm single disc in the front and a 220mm single rotor in the back. Weighing 141kg, the bike sports 17-inch alloy wheels with 100/80-section front and 140/70-section rear tires. Some other cool stuff about this bike is that it has a seat height of 815mm and a ground clearance of 170mm.
