The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V comes in a sleek Stealth Black color option and is available in one variant
Hero MotoCorp is enhancing its Xtreme 160R series bikes with updates to offer more appealing choices to customers. The updates that were previously introduced to the Xtreme 160R 4V model a few months ago are now being extended to the Extreme 160R 2V model. This updated model can be purchased for 1.11 lakhs (ex-showroom).
In meeting customer demands, the new Hero Xtreme 160R 2V motorcycle is now available in stealth black color only. The Xtreme 160R 2V model has undergone several significant changes compared to the 4V version. The company has introduced a drag race timer feature for the first time on this bike in India. Through two different modes – D1 and D2, this feature precisely measures the time required to reach 0-60 km/h speed and cover a quarter-mile distance.

The new premium tail lamp design is more attractive, representing a series of new hero models with the “H” mark. The flat seat profile with a lower height adjustment in the Pelion seat offers increased overall comfort. The new larger handle in the rear provides Pelion with more convenience, according to the hero.
Keeping safety in mind, this bike comes equipped with disk brakes in the front, drum brakes in the rear, and a single-channel ABS system. It is powered by a 163.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. With this setup, the bike is capable of producing 15 bhp power and 14 Nm torque.

The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V bike has a very strong design, thanks to its diamond frame. The combination of the front telescopic fork and the rear mono shock suspension makes it handle any road obstacles easily. The 100/80-17 front tire and 130/70-17 rear tire provide excellent grip for the bike, it features a comfortable seat height of 795 mm and a 12-liter petrol tank. Weighing only 145 kg, you’ll find it easy to manage this bike.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V edition is priced at Rs. 1.11 lakh, making it Rs. 28,000 cheaper than the 4V edition. It competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 150 (Rs. 1.25 lakh) and the Yamaha FZ bike range (Rs. 1.17 lakh-1.30 lakh).
