Ducati, the Italian motorcycle brand, has recently introduced the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2. This updated model of the touring bike features a fresh look and a brand-new 890 cc V-Twin engine, previously seen in the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 models. The latest Ducati Multistrada V2 is set to hit the Indian market in 2025.
2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Design, Hardware
The latest Multistrada V2 comes with a revamped frame, rear subframe, and swingarm. The frame is made of aluminum in a monocoque design, using the engine as a key part. The rear subframe is crafted from steel trellis, while the swingarm is cast in aluminum. These changes have significantly reduced the bike’s weight.

The V2 version weighs just 199 kg when ready to go, without fuel, and the V2 S version, with semi-active suspension, weighs 202 kg. This newer version is 18 kilograms lighter than the previous 937cc model. It now has a 19-liter fuel tank, 1 liter smaller than before, which also helps in reducing its weight.
The 2025 Multistrada V2 introduces upgraded suspension and braking features. Brembo manages the brakes using two 320 mm front discs and a single 265 mm rear disc, along with 170 mm of suspension travel. The standard Multistrada V2 is equipped with fully adjustable Marzocchi USD front forks and rear shock absorbers. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Features
The new bike features fresh headlights and daytime running lamps influenced by the Panigale and Multistrada V4 models. In addition, it has a revamped handlebar and a modern set of electronic features like traction control, anti-wheelie, and different riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and a fresh Wet mode.

The bike comes with switchable dual-channel ABS, power modes, and engine braking control. These features are supported by a 6-axis IMU. You can manage all these electronic functions through a 5-inch TFT display. Other electronic assists include independent Suspension Modes, cruise control, and turn-by-turn navigation.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Engine
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 is now equipped with a new 890cc engine. This engine is a 90-degree V-twin with IVT variable intake valve timing and distribution with coil spring valve recall. The new engine is quite small and light, weighing just 54.9 kg. It has boosted the power output to 113.4 bhp from 111 bhp, peaking at 10,750 rpm. Additionally, the torque is now at 92 Nm at 8,250 rpm.
