The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 has officially hit the Indian market, priced at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model, which replaces the Ninja 400, is set to compete with the likes of the Aprilia RS 457, KTM RC 390, and Yamaha R3. 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Design and Features

The Kawasaki Ninja 500 is built on a trellis frame, supported by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, both equipped with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). The bike has a seat height of 785 mm, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. The 2025 Ninja 500 is available in a sleek Metallic Carbon Grey color, giving it a modern and aggressive look.

In terms of features, the Ninja 500 comes with an LCD digital instrument console that offers smartphone connectivity. This allows riders to access notifications, riding logs, and community features. Additional features include the Kawasaki Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System (KIPASS) and a Type-C charging port.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Engine

The Ninja 500 boasts a 451 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine features a larger 58.6 mm stroke compared to the 51.8 mm stroke of the Ninja 400, while maintaining the same 70 mm bore. This results in a higher torque output of 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm, up from 37 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The power output remains at 45 bhp, but it now comes in earlier at 9,000 rpm instead of 10,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth and efficient power delivery.
