Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition Launched At Rs 5.65 Lakh

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition models come with extra features and accessories valued at up to Rs 65,654.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special version of the new Wagon R called the Waltz Edition in India, priced from Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited edition is available for the LXi, VXi, and ZXi models of Maruti’s well-liked hatchback. The Wagon R Waltz Edition comes with a range of visual upgrades and additional accessories valued at up to Rs 65,654. However, they have not disclosed the exact number of units that will be up for grabs or the duration of the sale and the prices for each variant have not been unveiled yet.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition: Features

The Wagon R Waltz Limited Edition comes with extra style features compared to the regular car. These include chrome accents on the grille, wheel arches, bumper protectors, side skirts, and side body moulding. Inside, you’ll find designer floor mats, seat covers, and interior styling kits. In terms of features, the Waltz Edition includes fog lamps, a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, speakers, a security system, and a reverse parking camera, depending on the variant you choose. In terms of safety, the Wagon R has got you covered with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, and Hill Hold (for AMT) all included as standard features.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition: Powertrains

The Waltz Edition package is available for all powertrain choices of the Wagon R. You have the freedom to choose between the 1.0-liter K10 and 1.2-liter K12 petrol engines, both with manual and AMT gearbox options. The 1.0-liter engine comes in the LXi and VXi models, while the 1.2-liter petrol engine is available in the ZXi trim. Additionally, you can opt for a bi-fuel CNG manual gearbox option with the 1.0-liter engine in the LXi and VXi versions.  

Maruti Suzuki proudly announces that they have sold more than 3 million units of the Wagon R in India since its debut back in 1999. To date, over 3.25 million units of this hatchback have been sold in the country, making it the company’s top-selling model in the fiscal year 2024.
