2025 Mini Cooper JCW: Powertrain, Specs
The 2025 Mini Cooper JCW Hatchback and JCW Convertible keep the same engine, a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine known as the B48 engine by Mini. This engine now generates 380Nm of peak torque, an increase from 320Nm in the older models. The power output remains steady at 230bhp. The power goes to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. You can easily change gears by using the paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel.
When it comes to speed, the new Mini JCW Hatchback can go from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds, outperforming the 2025 JCW Convertible, which achieves the same in 6.4 seconds. The Hatchback can reach a maximum speed of 250km/h, while the Convertible maxes out at 245km/h. So, if you’re looking for a faster ride, the Hatchback is your best bet!
