Maruti Suzuki India has once again grabbed the spotlight with the launch of the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG. Targeted at eco-conscious Indian buyers who seek performance, safety, and value, the new variant not only enhances the popular SUV’s feature list but also raises the benchmark in the CNG-powered vehicle segment.
The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara S-CNG comes in two trims: Delta CNG priced at Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom) and Zeta CNG at Rs 15.62 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices make it a strong competitor against midsize petrol SUVs and greener vehicle options.

What’s New in the 2025 Grand Vitara CNG?
This update is more than just a small change in fuel. Maruti has added big upgrades to safety, comfort, and connectivity. Safety features now include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all wheels, hill-hold assist, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats. The Grand Vitara S-CNG features Maruti’s latest K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. It offers two fuel modes. In petrol, it produces 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The mileage data isn’t specified for petrol. When running on CNG, the engine delivers 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. It also uses a 6-speed manual gearbox and achieves up to 26.6 km per kilogram on CNG. This setup balances performance and efficiency—ideal for long-distance highway runs or urban commuting on a budget.
