Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased the price of the Rumion MPV by Rs 13,000 for all variants across India.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced a uniform price hike of Rs 13,000 for its Toyota Rumion MPV lineup across India. Based on the popular Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Toyota Rumion is a seven-seater multi-utility vehicle available in petrol, petrol-automatic, and petrol-CNG variants. Despite the revision in pricing, no mechanical or design changes have been introduced.

Toyota Rumion: Powertrain Performance
The Toyota Rumion offers two engine options. Its petrol engine delivers 101 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 136.8 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. The CNG variant produces 86.63 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 121.5 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. Fuel efficiency varies between the two; the petrol model gives about 20.51 km per liter, while the CNG version can achieve 26.11 km per kilogram.

Infotainment & Safety
A 17.78 cm SmartPlay Cast touchscreen offers easy access to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes remote features for Toyota i-Connect. The safety system features dual front airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Hill Hold assist to keep you secure on the road.

While no changes in features or performance may appear disheartening, the price bump aligns with ongoing input cost adjustments in the industry. Given the MPV’s solid reputation and Toyota’s wide dealership network, the Rumion remains a strong contender in its segment.
