VLF Tennis EV Scooter Price Slashed to Rs 99,999

VLF cuts the price of its VLF Tennis electric scooter by ₹30,000 to ₹99,999, enhancing accessibility with a strong range and premium features.

VLF India has made its popular electric scooter more affordable with a significant price cut. The Italian EV brand, marketed locally through MotoHaus dealerships, has reduced the ex-showroom price of the VLF Tennis by ₹30,000, bringing it down to ₹99,999. The VLF Tennis was initially introduced with a higher price tag and offered a compelling blend of retro-modern design and urban practicality.

Under the skin, the VLF Tennis features a 2.6 kWh removable LMFP battery that delivers an IDC-claimed range of up to 150 km on a single charge, making it a good fit for daily city commutes. The battery can be fully charged in approximately three hours, and the scooter tops out at a claimed 65 km/h.

Ride quality is one of the key selling points of the Tennis. VLF has equipped it with a hydraulic monoshock featuring a progressive cantilever setup, which is designed to absorb road imperfections better and improve stability on broken or uneven urban roads. Complementing this is a strong cycle parts package that includes a lightweight aluminium swingarm and sporty 12-inch wheels shod with wide tyres – 100/80 at the front and 110/80 at the rear – for enhanced grip and handling.

VLF hasn’t compromised on features despite the price cut. The Tennis comes equipped with a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing, keyless ignition, projector LED headlamps, and disc brakes at both ends for assured stopping power. These elements give it a premium appeal over several rivals in the same price segment.

Buyers can now choose from five attractive colour options – Snowflake White, Ebony Black, Fire Fury Dark Red, Slate Blue, and Slate Grey – giving personalisation flexibility to suit individual tastes. The scooter is currently available across 15 MotoHaus dealerships in India, with plans to expand showroom presence in the coming months to reach more potential buyers.
