While the primary highlight of this update is the introduction of single-channel ABS, Suzuki has kept the fundamental mechanical package unchanged. The Access continues to be powered by the familiar 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers smooth performance tailored for urban commuting. The engine’s output figures remain around 8.4bhp and 10.2Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission that makes riding effortless in city traffic.

The single-channel ABS system is offered exclusively on the Ride Connect ABS Edition and the Ride Connect TFT ABS Edition. On the Ride Connect ABS variant, riders get the benefits of ABS alongside Suzuki’s LCD display cluster and connectivity features. The TFT version enhances the experience further with a colour TFT dashboard, combining modern tech and safety in one package.

This latest iteration of Access also continues to boast features that have made it a popular choice among Indian riders. These include large under-seat storage, comfortable ergonomics for city commuting, and 12-inch alloy wheels front and rear that offer stability on varied road surfaces. The scooter retains its disc brake at the front and a telescopic front suspension setup, ensuring a balanced ride quality.
Beyond the ABS addition, other aspects of Access remain consistent with earlier versions. Riders can expect good fuel efficiency, a practical seating position, and the reliable reliability that Suzuki’s scooters are known for. With the ABS upgrade, Suzuki has responded to growing customer expectations around safety — especially in urban environments where sudden braking is common.
