BYD India launched the entry-level BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic trim at ₹ 41.90 lakh with a 520 km range, making premium EV ownership more accessible in India
BYD has expanded its Sealion 7 lineup in India with the launch of the new Dynamic trim, priced at ₹41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as the entry-level variant, it undercuts the Premium trim by ₹8 lakh, making the Sealion 7 more accessible to buyers seeking a luxury EV experience without stretching their budget.

The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic trim is powered by a 71.8kWh Blade battery pack paired with a 231hp rear-wheel-drive motor. It delivers a claimed range of 520km (NEDC) and can sprint from 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds. In comparison, the Premium and Performance trims feature larger 82.56kWh batteries, offering higher outputs of 313hp and 530hp respectively, along with extended ranges of up to 567km.

Despite being the most affordable variant, the BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Trim retains several premium features such as LED lighting, a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen, a 10.25-inch driver’s display, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, 11 airbags, and Level 2 ADAS. However, it does miss out on certain luxuries like a head-up display, gesture-controlled tailgate, and powered lumbar support.
