Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara Price Starts At Rs 15.99 Lakh

Maruti unveils the complete Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara electric SUV price list in India, with variants from ₹15.99 lakh and special offers for early buyers.

Maruti Suzuki has finally revealed the full price list of its all-new e-Vitara electric SUV for buyers who skip the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option. After an initial reveal focused on battery subscription prices, the mainstream pricing now gives Indian EV shoppers a clear picture of what this highly anticipated electric SUV costs without battery rental.

For customers choosing to pay upfront for the battery along with the car, the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara’s ex-showroom prices range from ₹15.99 lakh to ₹20.01 lakh. This is roughly ₹5-5.5 lakh more than the BaaS-based introductory figures, making the non-BaaS variants a strong value proposition in the EV compact SUV segment.

The pricing break-up includes the Delta 49 kWh variant at ₹15.99 lakh, the Zeta 61 kWh variant at ₹17.49 lakh, and the Alpha 61 kWh trim at ₹19.79 lakh. Maruti also lists the Alpha Dual Tone version at ₹20.01 lakh, catering to buyers who want a bolder exterior. All prices are ex-showroom, and Maruti Suzuki is offering attractive introductory benefits for early buyers.

One of the key perks for customers booking the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara before March 31 is a free home AC charger with installation, a value-added inclusion that simplifies EV ownership. Early customers are also slated to receive complimentary DC fast charging at select Nexa outlets for either the first year or up to 1,000 units of energy – whichever comes first. Warranty coverage remains competitive with an 8-year battery warranty and a 3-year vehicle warranty.

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara offers two battery pack options that define its range and performance. The 49 kWh battery delivers a claimed driving range of up to 440 km on a single charge, while the larger 61 kWh unit extends the range to approximately 543 km. This gives buyers a choice between affordable entry pricing and longer range capability, making the e-Vitara a practical pick for both city and highway use.

Power output also varies with battery size. The Zeta variant with the smaller battery generates around 142 bhp and 192.5 Nm, whereas the 61 kWh versions push that to about 172 bhp with similar torque figures. Currently, Maruti Suzuki is offering front-wheel-drive setups in India; the all-wheel-drive model available overseas isn’t part of the local lineup yet.
