Triumph Tracker 400 Launched in India with flat-track styling, 349cc engine, and advanced features.
Triumph Motorcycles India has expanded its TR-series lineup with the launch of the Triumph Tracker 400, priced at ₹2.46 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned between the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, this new entrant brings a fresh flat-track-inspired design coupled with practical ergonomics tailored for Indian riders.

The Triumph Tracker 400 stands out with its minimalist styling. A flat elongated seat, slim fuel tank with knee recesses, and short tail section give it a clean, purposeful look. Complementing the design are features like an LED headlamp, number board panels, and a seat cowl, offered in three striking paint schemes—Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.

Underneath, the motorcycle shares its hardware with the Speed 400, including upside-down front forks and a gas-charged rear monoshock, both offering 140 mm of travel. Braking is managed by disc brakes at both ends, while 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in MRF tyres ensure stability on Indian roads.

Powering the Tracker 400 is a downsized 349 cc single-cylinder engine, derived from Triumph’s earlier 399 cc platform. This strategic reduction allows the bike to benefit from a lower 18% GST bracket compared to the 40% slab on motorcycles above 350 cc. The engine delivers 39.45 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 32 Nm at 7,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
On the tech front, the Triumph Tracker 400 offers full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument console combining analogue and digital readouts, ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and dual-channel ABS. These features make it a compelling option for riders seeking style, performance, and value.
