Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition Prices Start At Rs 7.29 Lakh

Maruti Fronx Velocity Edition is Now Available in all 14 Versions

Maruti Suzuki has now extended the Fronx Velocity Edition to all 14 versions, for a short period. This unique edition, first introduced in February 2024 exclusively for turbo-petrol models, now comes with extra accessories valued at up to Rs 45,000.

When you look at the Fronx Velocity Edition compared to the Sigma base model, you’ll notice it comes in at Rs 7.29 lakh, which is Rs 23,000 less than the regular trim. Even though it is cheaper, the Velocity version stands out with its unique touches on the front bumper, grille, headlights, and wheel wells.

Maruti Fronx Velocity Edition Engine and Versions

The 1.2-liter engine variants such as Delta, Delta+, and Delta+ (O) get extra upgrades compared to the Sigma model. These enhancements consist of red accents on the side molding, a mix of black and red on the rear bumper trim, a lighted door sill guard, and red-painted outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs).

The Delta+, Alpha, and Zeta trims with the 1-liter turbo-petrol engine have received some exciting design enhancements. These models now flaunt a trendy combination of grey and red on the exterior, along with black and red detailing on the front and rear bumpers. Step inside, and you’ll notice the elegant carbon finishes on different interior components, along with a sophisticated Opulent Red touch on the front grille.

Simply put, the Velocity Edition is the same as the regular Fronx in terms of mechanics. It offers a 1.2-liter petrol engine with manual and AMT auto transmission choices, and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with manual and torque convertor auto transmission options.

Even with these cosmetic adjustments, the features in the Maruti Fronx Velocity edition are the same as those in the standard Fronx models. The starting price for the Velocity edition is Rs 7.29 lakh (initial offer), whereas the regular Fronx models are priced between Rs 7.52 lakh and Rs 12.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx is a real success story, having sold over 150,000 units in just 14 months since it hit the market. Partho Banerjee, a senior executive at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, mentioned that the company hit the 100,000 mark in just 10 months. What’s cool is that roughly 80% of buyers opt for the 1.2-liter petrol engine when picking their Fronx.
