Ather Energy has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the launch of the new Ather 450S 3.7kWh, priced at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This latest variant is designed to appeal to range-conscious buyers, offering a significant upgrade in battery capacity without compromising on performance or design.

Ather 450S: Key Highlights
Battery Upgrade: Equipped with a 3.7kWh battery pack—previously exclusive to the 450X—this variant delivers an IDC-certified range of 161km, a notable jump from the 115km offered by the 450S 2.9kWh.
Performance Specs: Motor power is 5.4kW. It produces 22Nm of torque. It reaches 40km/h in 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is 90km/h. Choose from four ride modes: Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport.
Design & Features: Features include its signature sharp look. It also has 12-inch alloy wheels. A 7-inch LCD screen shows navigation. This screen offers turn-by-turn directions. The vehicle includes hill-hold assist. It also has Fall Safe technology. AtherStack software updates wirelessly.

A 450S with a 2.9kWh battery is about Rs 1.30 lakh. The 450X with a 2.9kWh battery is Rs 1.47 lakh. It includes a TFT display and more features.
