Bajaj Auto has launched the Bajaj Chetak 3001, its new budget-friendly electric scooter. Priced at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom), this model replaces the Chetak 2903. It features a better design, a bigger battery, and a longer range. The new scooter is aimed at Indian buyers who want a reliable electric vehicle at an affordable price.

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 comes with a 3.0 kWh battery pack, an upgrade from the previous 2.9 kWh version. This enhancement boosts the claimed range to 127 km on a single charge, making daily commutes and long rides more convenient. Additionally, its floorboard-mounted battery improves stability and creates more usable storage space.

Equipped with a 750-watt charger, the scooter supports fast charging, reaching 80% charge in just 3 hours and 50 minutes—a valuable feature for urban riders who need quick turnaround times.
