BMW Motorrad has officially introduced the 2025 BMW R 1300 RS, marking a significant evolution in the brand’s sport-touring segment. This latest iteration comes with a completely re-engineered 1,300 cc liquid-cooled boxer engine, offering enhanced power, sharper handling, and an overall improved riding experience.

A More Powerful Engine & Upgraded Chassis
At the core of the R 1300 RS lies a brand-new 1,300 cc boxer engine, producing an impressive 143 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 143 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. This makes it the most powerful serial production BMW boxer engine to date, delivering dynamic acceleration and a high-performance riding experience.

Complementing the upgraded engine is an entirely new chassis, designed with a steel sheet-metal main frame and an aluminium rear frame. This lightweight yet sturdy build enhances stability and agility while riding, making the R 1300 RS the sharpest-handling sport tourer BMW has ever produced.

BMW Motorrad has refined the design and ergonomics of the R 1300 RS, giving it a sportier look while ensuring comfortable touring capability. The bike features a twin-chamber LED headlight that enhances visibility, along with an ergonomically optimized riding position that offers a perfect balance between sporty dynamics and long-distance touring comfort.
The BMW R 1300 RS is available in four distinct variants: Each variant provides unique styling elements, catering to different rider preferences.

Packed with advanced electronics, the 2025 BMW R 1300 RS comes with three standard riding modes – Road, Rain, and Eco. Additionally, riders can opt for the Riding Modes Pro package, which unlocks Dynamic and Dynamic Pro modes for even greater performance customization.

- Engine Drag Control (MSR) – Prevents instability caused by aggressive downshifting.

Enhanced Handling & Performance
BMW has incorporated a new upside-down telescopic fork with 47 mm inner tube diameter, alongside a new EVO Paralever rear suspension. This setup ensures a stiffer connection to the frame, improving cornering capabilities and overall ride stability.
Additionally, the 17-inch aluminium cast wheels are 1.4 kg lighter, reducing rotational masses to optimize acceleration, braking response, and handling dynamics.
