Aston Martin DBX S Unleashed with 727 hp, 4.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V8 Engine
Aston Martin just introduced its newest model – the DBX S, the mightiest non-electric SUV to date. Boasting an impressive 727 hp, this top-of-the-line luxury SUV outshines the 725 hp Ferrari Purosangue in sheer power. It’s the debut of the S tag on an SUV by Aston Martin, usually reserved for their high-performance supercars.

Aston Martin DBX S Power and Performance
The Aston Martin DBX S builds upon the DBX 707, enhancing the power output by 20 hp while retaining the potent 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This powerhouse has been upgraded with larger compressor wheel diameters, borrowed from the iconic Valhalla, resulting in improved acceleration.

Despite keeping the 0-100kph time at 3.3 seconds, the DBX S manages to shave 0.3 seconds off the 0-200kph sprint time, delivering an even more exhilarating driving experience. The 900Nm torque output remains unchanged, ensuring impressive pulling power.
To add more fun, Aston Martin has upgraded the DBX S by fitting it with a brand-new exhaust system, making the V8 engine sound even louder. They’ve also made adjustments to the 9-speed wet-clutch automatic gearbox for sharper gear shifts, especially noticeable when in Sport or Sport+ modes.

Lighter and More Agile
One of the standout features of the DBX S is its remarkable weight-saving measures. Aston Martin has successfully reduced 47kg from the DBX 707, enhancing agility and performance. This weight reduction is achieved through several innovations.

If you opt for the Carbon Fibre Roof, you’ll shed off roof rails and lower the center of gravity by 18kg. Swapping out the standard aluminum wheels for 23-inch Magnesium Wheels will cut another 19kg. Consider the Polycarbonate Honeycomb Grille as an optional extra that helps in reducing the overall weight. Even with these modifications, the DBX S still clocks in at 2,198kg, ensuring it keeps its imposing stance on the road.

Bolder Design with a Luxurious Interior
The Aston Martin DBX S has a bold and sturdy look, inspired by the DBS 770 Ultimate. It has been upgraded with a new Black Grille for enhanced aerodynamics and style. The redesigned Diffuser improves stability, while the fresh Front Splitter & Side Sills help streamline airflow. The vertically aligned Twin Exhausts are a distinctive change from the horizontal layout of the DBX 707.

Aston Martin has designed a unique S-design inside the cabin. The seats feature a fashionable herringbone pattern that also extends to the headlining if you choose the carbon fiber roof. The standard upholstery includes Alcantara, but you can opt for semi-aniline leather and red seatbelts for a more luxurious feel. If you love music, you’ll enjoy the optional 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, providing a fantastic listening experience.
While the DBX S edges out the Purosangue in sheer power, it falls slightly behind hybrid-powered competitors in total output. However, it retains its place as the most powerful non-electrified SUV, showcasing Aston Martin’s commitment to raw performance without hybrid assistance.
