2025 Hero Splendor+ Launched at Rs 79,096 – Minor Updates to Powertrain and Features
India’s favorite commuter motorcycle series, the Hero Splendor+, is back with its 2025 iteration, introducing updates that promise enhanced functionality and compliance with modern emission norms. Hero MotoCorp continues its legacy with incremental improvements to this iconic lineup, which includes the Splendor+, Splendor+ XTEC, and Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 variants.
The 2025 Hero Splendor+ series now starts at a competitive price of Rs 79,096 (ex-showroom) for the base drum variant. Other variants include:
- Splendor+ i3S priced at Rs 80,066.
- Splendor+ i3S Black and Accent variants at the same price.
- Splendor+ XTEC Drum at Rs 82,751.
- Splendor+ XTEC Disc at Rs 86,051.
- Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 at Rs 85,001.
These prices reflect a modest premium ranging between Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,500 compared to the previous year’s models.

2025 Hero Splendor+ Design and Features
While the overall design remains consistent with the previous iterations, Hero MotoCorp has introduced new body panel graphics to distinguish the MY25 lineup from its predecessor. Depending on the variant, customers can choose from unique colorways and enjoy the addition of practical features such as rear luggage racks or sophisticated pillion grab rails.
The 2025 Hero Splendor+ embraces modern technology with features such as:
- LED headlights and DRLs for better visibility.
- A fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone app support, available in specific variants.

Advanced OBD-2B Compliant Engine
One of the most significant upgrades is the incorporation of a new powertrain that adheres to the stringent BS6 Phase 2 OBD-2B emission standards mandated in India from April 1, 2025. The 97.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine delivers a power output of 7.91 bhp and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. This upgrade ensures enhanced efficiency and eco-friendliness.
