2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 Launched: No Mechanical Changes, S Variant Gets Striking New Colour
Yamaha has officially introduced the 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155, bringing in subtle yet impactful updates to its popular maxi-style scooter. Competing against the Hero Xoom 160 and Aprilia SXR 160, the Aerox 155 continues to set benchmarks in the premium scooter segment. Yamaha has chosen to keep the price of the Aerox 155 the same this time, even after adjusting it last month. Here’s how it breaks down: the Standard Variant is priced at Rs 1,50,130 (ex-showroom), while the S Trim Variant costs Rs 1,53,430 (ex-showroom).

New Color, Design and Features
The top-spec Aerox 155 S variant now flaunts an exciting Ice Fluo Vermillion color option, replacing the previous Grey Vermillion shade. For enthusiasts of Yamaha’s signature Racing Blue, the company has introduced fresh body graphics, enhancing the scooter’s visual appeal. Meanwhile, the standard variant will continue to be available in Metallic Black.
Yamaha keeps its focus on providing you with a range of features, including: LED headlights and taillights, an instrument cluster with Bluetooth and navigation, a multifunction key, automatic start-stop system, side-stand engine immobilizer, and single-channel ABS for extra safety. Moreover, the S variant includes a Smart Key feature for simpler and more convenient access to different functions.

Crafted with the foundation shared by the Yamaha R15 and MT-15, the Aerox 155 boasts: front forks that telescope, dual springs at the rear, 14-inch alloy wheels, and disc brakes equipped with dual-channel ABS at the front and back.

The 2025 Aerox 155 continues to be powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 14.75 bhp and 13.9 Nm of peak torque. The engine is now OBD2B compliant, ensuring better emission monitoring. Power is transferred via a CVT automatic transmission, making city commuting seamless.
