MG Motor India is set to make waves in the electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of the MG Cyberster. This fully electric roadster is poised to debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, and it promises to be a game-changer in the world of electric sports cars. MG Cyberster Exterior Design and Features

The design of the MG Cyberster is truly remarkable. Drawing inspiration from the iconic MG B Roadster of the 1960s, it blends the classic appeal of a roadster with modern aesthetics and advanced technology. The car was first shown as a pre-production model at the Shanghai Motor Show in April 2021 and later made its official appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The MG Cyberster has a bold and contemporary design. It showcases a sloped front, useful air intakes, and a split bumper. The wheels range from 19 to 20 inches, featuring dual-tone alloy finishes. It includes connected taillights, scissor doors, and a retractable roof. The car’s dimensions are 4,533 mm in length, 1,912 mm in width, and 1,328 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,689 mm.

The Cyberster offers several key features in the global market. It comes with three touchscreens designed for drivers: a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch information touchscreen on the left side. The car also includes scissor doors that open electronically and a folding soft-top roof that is hidden behind roll bars.

MG Cyberster Powertrain and Battery Pack

The MG Cyberster features a powerful dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. It runs on a 77 kWh battery, which MG says is the thinnest car battery globally, measuring only 110mm in thickness. This system includes two oil-cooled motors located on each axle, mimicking an all-wheel-drive experience.

The dual-motor system produces a powerful 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.2 seconds. MG states that the car has a maximum range of 580 km on a single charge based on the CLTC cycle. The Cyberster features four driving modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track, which let drivers choose their preferred driving style.
