2025 MG Hector Now Certified for E20 Fuel Compatibility: Paving the Way for a Greener Future
In a landmark move towards sustainability, JSW MG Motor India has officially announced that its popular Hector SUV is now compliant with E20 fuel standards. This development aligns with the Indian government’s mandate requiring all gasoline vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025, to support 20% ethanol-blended fuel, reflecting the nation’s broader ethanol-blending initiative for reducing carbon emissions.
The new E20-compatible Hector is available in 1.5 L Petrol MT and CVT variants, ensuring enhanced fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions. All petrol models of the Hector manufactured post-March 31, 2025, will meet this standard, following in the footsteps of MG’s Astor, which achieved compliance last year.
