Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Launched At Rs 38.40 Lakh

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS comes with lightweight parts to boost its performance.

Ducati just released the Multistrada V4 RS, a high-end sport-touring motorcycle that elevates the Multistrada series with modern technology and distinctive design touches. This new adventure bike perfectly showcases Ducati’s commitment to thrilling journeys.  This motorcycle is a real showstopper with its top-notch performance, cutting-edge features, and eye-catching design. Priced at Rs 38,40,600 (ex-showroom), this beauty will be ready for you to take out on the roads starting in early September 2024.

This bike stands out for its clever design using lightweight materials like carbon fiber and titanium. These materials, along with features such as 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminum wheels and a titanium subframe, help reduce the bike’s overall weight. The revamped tail section, without the pillion grab handle and top box mounting bracket, also adds to the weight savings. In the end, the V4 RS is 2.5 kg lighter than the regular Multistrada model and 3 kg lighter than the Pikes Peak version.

The Multistrada V4 RS is packed with advanced features. It offers four power settings: Full, High, Medium, and Low. Along with that, You’ll also have options to control traction, wheelies, and engine braking. You can choose from four ride modes: Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban. Additionally, the motorcycle comes with advanced electronic assistance like cornering ABS, adaptive cruise control, navigation, and other high-tech features.

The bike has an Aluminum monocoque frame that is supported by electronically adaptable 48 mm Ohlins front forks covered with a titanium nitride layer. At the back, there’s an Ohlins TTX36 mono shock that is also fully customizable. For braking, it features radially-mounted Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers with twin 330 mm semi-floating discs in the front and a Brembo two-piston floating caliper with a 265 mm disc in the rear.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: Engine 

The Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a strong 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. It produces 180 bhp at 12,250rpm and 118 Nm at 9,500rpm. This means it’s the mightiest adventure bike around, surpassing the Granturismo V4 engine, which delivers 170 bhp and 125 Nm. The bike emphasizes speed and quickness, boosting power output while slightly lowering torque.

The V4 RS comes equipped with the iconic Ducati dry clutch. It also boasts a bi-directional quick-shifter that takes the top-notch performance of a sports bike and channels it into an adventure touring beast.
