Hyundai Motor India has made a strategic move by introducing the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) to its lower-spec Aura S variant, making automatic driving more accessible and affordable. The launch of the new Hyundai Aura S AMT is expected to appeal to budget-conscious urban commuters seeking convenience without compromising essential safety features.

Hyundai Aura S Pricing Breakdown
Hyundai’s decision to extend AMT to the S variant dramatically reshapes its pricing landscape:

Compared to the manual S trim, the new AMT version demands only Rs 70,000 more. However, it undercuts the SX Plus AMT by a significant Rs 87,000—making it a standout value proposition in the entry-level sedan segment.

Engine and Transmission Options
The Aura S AMT is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It delivers 83 Hp of power and 114 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed automatic manual transmission. A CNG option is offered, but only for the manual versions.

The Hyundai Aura S AMT comes with manual air conditioning that has rear vents, a keyless entry system, and a MID with an analog instrument cluster. Inside, there’s footwell lighting and a rear center armrest with cupholders. The audio system includes four speakers for better sound.

Safety is a strong focus with six airbags, ABS with EBD for better stopping power, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to help keep the car steady. Hill Start Assist makes starting on slopes easier. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you if tire pressure drops. ISOFIX mounts provide secure points for child seats, making family trips safer.
