The Hyundai Exter S (O) MT is priced at Rs 7.86 lakh, and the S+ AMT version costs Rs 8.43 lakh
Hyundai has introduced two fresh versions of the Exter micro-SUV: the S(O)+ manual and the S+ AMT. The S(O)+ costs Rs 7.86 lakh, and the S+ AMT is priced at Rs 8.44 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). These new models are approximately Rs 21,000 pricier than the existing S(O) MT and S AMT variants.
For a bit more money, the new Hyundai Exter S(O)+ and S+ versions come with a cool extra feature – an electronic sunroof. This feature is used to start from the mid-range SX variant. The additional features found in these versions resemble those in the S(O) and S models. You’ll enjoy an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a colorful TFT MID digital cluster, manual air conditioning with rear vents, power windows both in the front and back, LED daytime running lights, remote and central locking, front and rear skid plates, and floor mats.

The latest trims come with added safety features for you and your passengers. These include 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for every seat, day & night IRVM, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), ABS with EBD, impact-sensing auto door unlock, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and emergency stop signal (ESS), and more.

Hyundai Exter: Powertrain
When it comes to the engine, both versions come with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 81.8 horsepower and 113.8 Nm of torque. The S(O)+ model comes only with a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas the S+ AMT comes with a 5-speed automated manual gearbox. The manual gearbox offers a fuel efficiency of 19.4 km/l, while the AMT provides 19.2 km/l. Additionally, you have the option to go for the Exter CNG variant.
