However, the Hyundai Exter SX Tech variant does miss out on some features present in the SX(O) trim, such as ambient lighting, a wireless smartphone charger, leatherette upholstery, a cooled glove box, and a rear wiper. Despite this, the SX Tech offers excellent value, priced at approximately Rs 44,000 less than the SX(O) trim.

Exter S: The S trim now includes enhanced safety features such as a rear camera, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and hill-start assist. Other additions include 15-inch dual-tone wheel covers and the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system found in the SX Tech.
Exter S+: The S+ trim mirrors the updates of the S trim, with the added luxury of a sunroof, rear AC vents, and power-adjustable outside rearview mirrors.

Hyundai Exter Powertrain
The Exter is constructed on the Hyundai-KIA K1 platform, giving it a strong, SUV-like appearance. It offers two engine options: a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine and a 1.2-liter petrol-CNG engine. The petrol variant generates 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, available with both manual and AMT automatic transmissions. In contrast, the CNG engine produces 68 bhp and 95 Nm, and it is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
