Maserati GranTurismo Now Available in Stunning Modena and Trofeo Variants

Maserati has just launched the GranTurismo in India, giving you two choices: Modena and Trofeo. The Modena comes at Rs 2.72 crore, while the Trofeo is priced at Rs 2.90 crore (ex-showroom). Globally, Maserati also offers a third electric version called Folgore for the GranTurismo. Unfortunately, the Folgore version won’t be available in India until next year.

The GranTurismo has a unique look with vertical headlamps that have L-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps. The front has Maserati’s iconic grille, proudly showcasing the trident emblem. the GranTurismo stands out with its coupe style and two-door setup. Moreover, Maserati has cleverly swapped out the traditional door handles for stylish alternatives that blend perfectly with the car’s body.

When you look at the rear of the car, you’ll see that the tail lights are shaped like a triangle, giving them a sleeker look. The back of the car has four exhaust openings and thin LED rear lights, which are inspired by the older GranTurismo models. The front wheels are 20 inches in size, while the rear wheels are a bit bigger at 21 inches.

The GranTurismo interior got a makeover. They swapped out old buttons for touch controls and screens. The old clock on the dashboard was replaced with a digital display. Now, inside, you’ll see a digital instrument panel and a large central touchscreen. Below the main 12.3-inch screen, there’s an additional 8.8-inch touchscreen for managing the air conditioning and seats. The only buttons left are on the updated steering wheel.

Maserati GranTurismo: Powertrain

The Maserati GranTurismo offers three powertrain choices worldwide. The Modena and Trofeo versions come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, and the Folgore option has a tri-motor electric powertrain. What’s cool is that all three models now include an all-wheel-drive system.

Maserati GranTurismo Modena: If you’re deciding between two options, going for the Modena would be the most cost-effective pick. It’s equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that provides a robust 490hp and 600Nm of torque. Maserati is proud of the quick acceleration of this model, going from 0 to 100kph in only 3.9 seconds and hitting a top speed of 302 km/h.

Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo: The GranTurismo Trofeo is equipped with a robust 3.0-liter engine that pumps out an impressive 550hp and 650Nm of torque. This beauty accelerates swiftly, hitting 0 to 100kph in a mere 3.5 seconds, and can zoom to a maximum speed of 320 km/h.
