2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake, featuring an 85kWh battery, up to 354hp, and an impressive 761km electric range.
Mercedes-Benz has taken a bold step into the electric estate segment with the reveal of the third-generation CLA Shooting Brake. This innovative model marks the brand’s first-ever all-electric estate, marrying eco-conscious engineering with high-end luxury. Larger, smarter, and sleeker than ever, the 2025 Shooting Brake brings new dimensions to both utility and elegance.

Powertrain & Performance
Only available in electric models, the car available with two trims, CLA 250+ and 350+ 4MATIC. The rear-wheel-drive CLA 250+ has a single motor producing 268 horsepower and 334 Nm of torque, offering up to 473 miles (761 km) of range. In terms of speed, the CLA 250+ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
The more powerful version is the all-wheel-drive CLA 350+ 4MATIC, which features two motors. It delivers 354 horsepower, 515 Nm of torque, but offers a slightly lower range of 454 miles (730 km). In terms of speed, The CLA 350+ 4MATIC clocks in even faster, hitting 100 km/h in just 5 seconds.

Both vehicles are equipped with an 85kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery pack. They support DC fast charging up to 320kW, which can add about 310 km of range in just 10 minutes. For overnight home charging, they support AC charging at rates up to 22kW.

Design & Smart Interior
The new CLA has larger exterior dimensions, making it longer and wider than the previous model. Its body features sleek, aerodynamic lines highlighted by tri-star LED daytime running lights. The car includes retractable door handles and stylish alloy wheels. At the back, connected tail lights and a smooth gloss bumper give it a modern look. An integrated roof spoiler adds to its futuristic stance.

The cabin offers a roomy rear seat with 26mm more headroom for added comfort. The cargo space can hold up to 1,290 liters. It features a three-screen setup, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch central infotainment display, and an optional 14-inch screen for passengers to stream content or play games. The panoramic roof is large and lit up with 158 ambient stars, creating a stunning visual. The glass is dimmable and insulated, making it suitable for very hot or cold weather.

The car will be launched across Europe in March 2026. In India, the CLA sedan is expected to arrive by late 2025. However, the estate version may not be sold there because local buyers have little interest in station wagons.
