The MG Astor Blackstorm Edition comes exclusively with a 1.5-liter petrol engine.
MG has introduced the new Astor Blackstorm in India with a price tag of Rs. 13.44 lakh for the MT version and Rs. 14.45 lakh for the AT version. This model comes exclusively with a 1.5-liter petrol engine. The Blackstorm edition features various blacked-out design elements compared to the regular model, keeping the mechanics unchanged. The old Astor Blackstorm used the Smart trim, but the new one is built on the Select trim.

MG Astor Blackstorm: Features and Engine
On the outside, the MG Astor Blackstorm sports a variety of blacked-out elements such as the all-black honeycomb pattern grille, smoked-out effect for the headlamps, front and rear bumper, R 17 black alloy wheels with red front brake calipers, glossy black door garnish, side door cladding and roof rails. The vehicle also comes with a Blackstorm emblem on the front fender.
While the interior retains the same interior layout, it also has an all-black theme and features Tuxedo Black upholstery with red stitching and ‘Blackstorm’ embroidered on the front seat headrests. Other styling elements include a panoramic sunroof, red AC vents, a black steering wheel with red stitching, and floor mats. Moreover, the Astor Blackstorm is equipped with new JBL speakers as part of an accessory fitment, the equipment list is unchanged from the regular Select trim.

The Astor Blackstorm still runs on the reliable 1.5-liter petrol engine that pumps out 109 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. You have the option to choose between a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT for your Astor Blackstorm.
