MV Agusta has once again captured the attention of bike fans and collectors with its latest creation—the Superveloce 1000 Ago. This limited edition bike honors Giacomo Agostini, a 15-time Grand Prix champion, combining nostalgic styling with sharp, modern superbike performance. On Agostini’s 83rd birthday, MV Agusta will release only 83 units of the Superveloce 1000 Ago. Each bike will cost €83,000, roughly Rs 83 lakh. This limited-edition super bike is the first new model after MV Agusta split from KTM’s parent company, Pierer Mobility AG. The move marks a fresh start for the Italian brand, now operating independently.

Superveloce 1000 Ago Design & Features
Built around MV Agusta’s four-cylinder Superveloce 1000 platform, this neo-retro superbike features a full carbon-fiber fairing, complete with aerodynamic winglets. Its Fire Red Matt and Magnum Silver Matt livery, punctuated by the iconic yellow No. 1 and CNC-machined yellow headlight crown, evokes Agostini’s historic race machines.
The underseat Akrapovič four-exit exhaust, spoked silver wheels, and a golden “15 Titoli Mondiali” plaque across the leather-strapped fuel tank further enhance its vintage racing charm.The fully electronic Öhlins suspension system ensures precise handling.
While Brembo braking components deliver uncompromising stopping power. The 5.5-inch TFT dash with integrated GPS and MV Ride App enhances rider connectivity, making this motorcycle a blend of heritage and modern technology.

Engine & Performance
At the heart of this machine is a 998 cc DOHC inline-four engine, delivering a thundering 208 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 116 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. Though it mirrors the performance specs of the Serie Oro variant, the Ago edition takes personalization to a bespoke level. and MV Agusta’s advanced MVICS 2.1 engine management system, the bike offers eight levels of traction control, wheelie control, and customizable riding modes for optimized performance.
