2025 Bajaj Chetak Design and Features
The new Bajaj Chetak keeps the classic look of older models while incorporating modern updates. It has a redesigned frame, improved battery, enhanced motor, and upgraded controller. The scooter now features sleek turn indicators, a blacked-out headlight frame, and a slimmer LED tail light. The wheelbase is longer, offering a more spacious floor area and an additional 80mm in seat length. It also maintains a familiar monoshock suspension at both the front and rear. The braking system includes a disc brake in the front and a drum brake at the back for effective stopping.

The Chetak 3501 is the highest model available and is equipped with many advanced features. It has a new touchscreen TFT display that allows for smartphone connectivity, music control, integrated maps, and geo-fencing. Users can access Digital Docs On The Go, and manage calls by accepting or rejecting them while riding. The scooter also includes a FOB Key and a Reverse Mode. These features make the Chetak a strong contender in the electric scooter market. Available colors include Brooklyn Black, Pista Green, Hazelnut, Indigo Metallic, and Matte Scarlett Red.

2025 Bajaj Chetak Battery and Performance
The new frame accommodates a 3.5kW battery in the floorboard area, which Bajaj claims offers a range of 153km on a full charge. The scooter also comes with a 950W onboard quick charger that can charge the battery from 0-80% in just three hours. This new battery placement has also freed up 35 liters of boot space, addressing one of the major drawbacks of the previous models.
Power is provided by a lighter 4.2 kW (5.6 bhp) electric motor, achieving a maximum speed of 73 km/h. Bajaj has reinforced the battery pack with extra sheet metal for better protection. The motor and controllers also feature a new cooling system, along with the iFuse for enhanced circuit safety. The e-scooter comes with two riding options: Eco and Sport.
